Serengeti National Park · Ngorongoro Conservation Area · Tarangire National Park
5-Day Northern Tanzania Wildlife Safari
The classic northern circuit: Tarangire, two days in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Wildlife Safaris · Private Safaris
A short, rewarding introduction to northern Tanzania: Tarangire's elephants and baobabs followed by a full day in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Ideal when time is limited — before or after a Kilimanjaro climb, or as a first taste of safari. You start close to Arusha in Tarangire, then climb into the cool highlands for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Depart Arusha in the morning for Tarangire. Spend the day on game drives along the Tarangire River, looking for elephant herds, giraffe, lion and the park's rich birdlife among the baobabs.
An early start takes you to the crater rim and down to the crater floor for a full day of wildlife viewing — with a chance of black rhino, lion, elephant and flamingo. Picnic lunch inside the crater.
Enjoy a relaxed morning — optionally a walk or a cultural visit — before driving back to Arusha, or continue on to Zanzibar or your next adventure.
